Troubleshooting method: Drain all water from the bottom of the diesel supply system fuel tank, diesel filter, fuel injection pump, and other components.

Prevention: Diesel fuel must settle for more than 24 hours before use. When refueling, do not insert the oil pump into the bottom of the diesel tank. If the fuel tank cap is damaged or lost, it should be replaced in a timely manner. Poor sealing of the cylinder gasket or cracks at the bottom of the cylinder head, as well as leakage of cooling water in the water jacket, can also cause water vapor to emit white smoke. Need to locate the leaking area and repair or replace the relevant parts.

2. White smoke: The temperature is low in winter.

Due to the low temperature, some diesel fuel failed to ignite and emit white smoke. This white smoke disappears on its own as the engine temperature increases, which is a normal situation and does not need to be eliminated. Poor diesel atomization. The reasons include: low fuel injection pressure, severe dripping of fuel from the injector, or the injector pressure being set too low, causing some diesel oil mist to fail to ignite and burn in the combustion chamber, resulting in white smoke. Different situations should be distinguished, or the oil pump plunger coupling should be replaced, or the fuel injection pressure should be adjusted to normal values, or the fuel injector should be dismantled and ground to repair the needle valve coupling. If it cannot be repaired, it should be replaced.

The advantages of diesel engines are high power and good economic performance. The working process of diesel engines has many similarities with gasoline engines, and each working cycle also goes through four strokes: intake, compression, power, and exhaust. However, due to the fact that diesel engines use diesel fuel, which has a higher viscosity than gasoline and is less prone to evaporation, and its self ignition temperature is lower than gasoline, the formation and ignition method of combustible mixtures are different from gasoline engines. When a diesel engine is working, air enters the cylinder. When the piston approaches the top dead center, the high-pressure pump on the engine injects diesel into the cylinder at high pressure, forming fine oil particles that mix with high-pressure and high-temperature air. The diesel mixture burns on its own, expands violently, and generates explosive force, pushing the piston down to do work. At this time, the temperature can reach 1900-2000 ℃, and the pressure can reach 60-100 atmospheres, producing a large amount of power.
